Day 1 - Arrive on Sunday, at your leisure in the afternoon. It'll be hot (just how we like it!) so feel free to jump right into the pool to cool off and relax after your drive (2 hours from San Diego or LA) or flight. Check into your poolside room at the lush Alcazar Hotel anytime after 3pm. After a few hours spent sinking into vacation mode, we'll meet up on the pool patio for a welcome reception and meet & greet. Dinner is only steps away at BIRBA, where we'll dine together on one of Palm Springs' most festive patios with delicious seasonal fare + wine pairings. Drift off to sleep in your tranquil room at the Alcazar.
Day 2 - We're waking up early today for good reason - to hike up the impressive Skyline trail to catch a gorgeous desert sunrise! We'll climb straight up from the desert floor just far enough to break a sweat, and find an incredible view. Practice a few rounds of sun salutations (and of course take a few obligatory sunrise-instagram-pics). Breakfast is at your leisure, but may we suggest Cheeky's, on-site at our hotel? (We'll be there, eating a Flight-of-Bacon and a Quinoa Green Hash.) Spend the day diligently working on your tan, perfecting your pool floating, and getting through that book you've been wanting to read. In the early evening we'll cruise downtown to OliveA'Sudden for an Olive Oil Tasting Party and Healthy Fats & Nutrition Q&A session. Dinner is at your leisure tonight... and there are so many places to pick from! Palm Springs is your oyster!
Day 3 - After a morning HIIT workout & powerful breathwork session in the park across from our hotel, we'll head out for the Palm Springs Arial Tramway. You'll be transported an exhilarating 8000 feet and two and a half miles straight up into the San Jacinto Mountains, for a day-hike in the cool mountain air and pine trees, and more incredible views of the Coachella Valley below. We'll descend in time to get you back to the pool in the afternoon for more R&R in the warm, rejuvenating sunshine. Just as the sun starts to dip behind the mountains, we'll head to a special "Magic of the Tiki Cocktail" happy hour at Bootlegger Tiki, where you'll hear stories about this location (home of the Original Don the Beachcomber) while enjoying a perfectly tropical libation. Tonight's dinner is at Workshop Kitchen + Bar - a James Beard Award winner for its innovative menu; and we'll have some perfectly paired natural wines to accompany your delicious family-style fare.
Day 4 - A peaceful morning Active Recovery class in the park starts our last day together, followed by breakfast at your leisure at one of the many great spots within walking distance. Come hang by the pool a little longer and soak up a little more Vitamin D before you leave! Closing goodbyes at 11am.

Double Room: $1,500 per person (sleeps two people, in separate beds) (*only 2 rooms of this type available!)

T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS A non-refundable deposit of $500 US dollars is required to confirm your spot. Full payment is required at 45 days prior to the retreat start date (May 1, 2018). If a booking is made less than 45 days in advance of the start of the retreat, the full amount is required to confirm a spot.
If a cancellation is made by the client, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees apply:
- If you cancel more than 45 days before program start date: 100% refund or application of funds toward another retreat date, not including deposit (non-refundable).
- If you cancel within 45 days of program start date: you will forfeit your entire payment.
All cancellations must be received in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy above will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers and hotels. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
Minimum participant number for this trip is 6; maximum 12. We reserve the right to cancel the retreat should the minimum number not be met. Should we postpone or cancel a retreat for this or any other reason, guests will be notified of alternative dates, and allowed to apply their payments toward a future date of travel, or refunded all retreat fees, inclusive of deposit, but exclusive of any airfare or other travel charges incurred. For this reason we HIGHLY recommend that you purchase travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage as soon as you pay your deposit.
TRAVEL INSURANCE We strongly encourage comprehensive travel insurance for all Trip Participants. It is solely your responsibility to secure such coverage. When obtaining a travel insurance policy, be sure it covers trip cancellations, trip interruptions, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, loss of baggage and flight delays or changes.
TRAVEL All travel arrangements to and from Palm Springs, all extra mini-bar or room charges/damage fees, and any incidental costs (alcoholic beverages, spa services, gifts) are covered by the trip participant. Travel costs are not included in the price of the retreat. Guests are welcome to contact us for information on traveling to & from retreat destination.
ACCOMMODATION If booking a Double Room, TWO deposits are required (for each person). If you are looking for a person to share a Double Room with, let us know and we will do our best to find you a roommate, however this is not guaranteed and we recommend bringing a friend!
CATERING Make sure you complete the registration form correctly so we can cater to you if you have any special dietary requirements. We can accommodate various diet requirements if given ample preparation time; please let us know upon booking should you require vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc.
HEALTH AND SAFETY We make every effort to ensure the health and safety of our guests is paramount. We will not be held responsible for accidents or injuries which occur prior to, during or after the retreat. It is your responsibility to act in ways which protect the health and safety of yourself and others. All retreat participants must be at least 18 years of age; if under 18 you must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
