Happy Tuesday Everybody!
A new round of my Sugar Detoxers just got started yesterday, and they're in that excited beginning stage of the first day without the sugar. (The going gets a little more tough on day 2/3... eek!) Many of them ask me as we start off, "so, do you eat a salad every DAY?" as if it's a boring prospect. And I do eat a salad of some sort almost every day, but it's never boring!
If you follow me over on Instagram-o-rama, you might've seen a few pictures of my #biggasslunchsalads. I love to pick through the fridge and our little garden and see what might go well together, and toss it all onto a big beautiful plate - a little protein, a lot of greens, and as many vibrant colors as possible.
And here's a secret: I usually take that beautiful plate you see in the picture and dump it all into a giant bowl and toss it with olive oil & vinegar. It's just not as pretty as when I first lay it all out, but I love to eat a big messy salad in an oversized bowl, shoveled into my mouth in heaps.
